Well after a little adventure the other day, I have decided that I would rather take a walk on a pony with a friend in the woods!
There is nothing quite like the feeling when you get, when time doesn’t matter, you don’t really know where you are but that doesn’t matter either, because you are with a friend and her real life unicorn pony!
On a serious note, my lovely friend did offer me a ride on her pony which was greatly appreciated (the same pony that when mounting I was asked if I had never ridden before because I was rather nervous) and the pony was an absolute saint and my friend, just amazing! What may seem like a small act of support goes a really long way. It made me remember what it was like to go for a wander on horseback, to breathe whilst trotting and I didn’t realise how long it had been since I could just be in that way.
I wanted to post this as a little happy reminder, following on from a post about my nerves, to show that sometimes, all you need is a supportive friend and trustworthy pony to make you feel as though you have rediscovered a little spark you thought you had lost… it’s still there x
