Starting Over…

I’ve lost track of the number of times I have started and restarted my blog now, not quite sure which direction to take it in – but I’ve been learning a lot recently, and whilst I fear that I don’t have anything interesting to say, I’m going to try to fight the fear and write anyway.

In the last eighteen months, I’ve moved from east coast to west, changed my job from admin to farm assistant, travelled (ocassionally… when I can muster up the bravery to leave my animals…), and have been trying to gather my hobbies back again – my passion for wool and spinning when I can, gardening (gathering more plants than my record high eight years ago, and this time a greenhouse too) and horses, recently entering the show ring for the first time! I’m passionate about it all, and anyone who knows me would say I could talk for hours, maybe even days, about the things mentioned above, so maybe this will help save the ears of those closest to me!

I have also wondered if it’s worth writing about so many random topics, often aware of the phrase, ‘jack of all trades is a master of none’, but I recently came across the full quote –

Jack of all trades, master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.

I love the full quote a lot more than what I knew of it before…

So let’s see where this blog takes us… x
